Dr Rachael Thwaites, BSc (Hons), PhD, MCIEEM

 

I trained as an Ecologist at Nottingham Polytechnic and Imperial College, London.

 

I have worked for over 25 years as an Ecologist, including working for the 'Centre of Ecology and Hydrology', 'Scottish Natural Heritage' and, since 2007, as an Independant Ecological Consultant.

 

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management and a Committee Member for North East Scotland Bat Group.

 

My work includes Bat surveys, Vegetation surveys, Ecological surveys, some EPS surveys, and supervision of works relating to bat licensing within the Aberdeenshire and Moray area.

 

Licensed bat worker for 8 years.
